
Ashley E. Bordelon, Ph.D., BCBA-D, LP, NRHSP
Dr. Ashley Bordelon is a Licensed Psychologist in Oregon and Maryland and a Doctoral Level Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA-D). After completing her Ph.D. in Psychology at Louisiana State University, she completed her post-doctoral fellowship at the Kennedy Krieger Institute and the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland with a focus on working with neurodivergent populations. Dr. Bordelon was certified in Organizational Behavior Management by Florida Institute of Technology in 2017 and is a National Register Health Service Psychologist.
Dr. Bordelon focuses on strengths-based tools with a heavy emphasis on skill building using modalities including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Dialectal Behavior Therapy. Each client is provided an individualized treatment plan based on collaboration between Dr. Bordelon and the client. Typically, structured workbook, readings, and skill building assignments are provided to increase likelihood of success outside of therapy sessions and to generalize the skills learned in therapy to every day life.
Dr. Bordelon has experience with severe challenging behaviors, parent training, neurodivergent children, adolescents, and adults, as well as neurotypical populations presenting with concerns such as OCD, anxiety, and depression. Additionally, Dr. Bordelon has worked in multiple settings, including community, outpatient, university, and school-based services. Dr. Bordelon has experience identifying and providing intervention at both the individual and organizational level.
Dr. Bordelon does not provide services related to Schizophrenia and related disorders, personality disorders, eating disorders, family court evaluations, drug and alcohol treatment, or couples/marriage therapy.
